Prevention and Stabilization

Veteran Housing and Chronic Housing Initiatives

Veteran housing is available at both the Osmund and Great Hill locations, and both facilities also serve the chronically homeless. These programs provide intensive case management within a housing first setting that includes veteran-specific counseling, referrals and services aimed at supporting chronically homeless adults. The Great Hill facility serves up to 35 individuals.

Shelter + Care Supported Housing Programs

LSA operates 49 single room occupancy units with on-site case management and services. These units can be permanent housing or a step towards permanent housing serving the chronically homeless and people who are disabled.

Inn Progression Program

Permanent supportive housing for the difficult-to-house who do not meet HUD housing criteria or who may have backgrounds or other factors that affect their ability to enter public housing.

MRVP & Shelter + Care Units

These two-bedroom apartment units are subsidized permanent units of housing available to homeless families with the provision of case management. Shelter + Care is for chronically homeless disabled heads of house and Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program (MRVP) is designed for difficult-to-house heads of house with weak rental histories.
